At SandyPup, our mission is to make it easier for dog lovers to explore the world with their furry friends. What started when I adopted Sol from Baja Street Dogs and struggled to find reliable dog-friendly beach information in Los Angeles has grown into a guide built for pet parents everywhere.
Today, based in San Diego, we provide trusted details like beach hours, leash rules, must-have checklists, and community reviews to help you plan stress-free adventures with your pup.
Looking ahead, our goal is to expand beyond California and create a global directory of dog-friendly coasts, with the support of a passionate community of contributors. Together, we can make sure no pup or their person ever misses out on a great beach day.
